At the age of 17 I found myself in a situation with an unwanted pregnancy and I was thankful to be able to use the services of a local non profit in my state to perform the abortion. This was 18 years ago so getting through an aggressive anti-abortion picket line was an absolute must. I went to the appointment by myself, without the knowledge of my parents, it was my first real decision as women concerning my reproductive rights. I do not ever want to lose those rights!
