no words

Rosa Parks died yesterday.

Her legacy speaks for itself.

about this blog.

this blog is...
-a site of healing.
-in transition. transitioning. (has) transitioned.
-about healing. about revolution. (about healing the revolution. about a revolution of healing.)
-a work in progress.
-not about navel-gazing. This is political. This is about healing. This is about social change. Individual healing and change, after all, is social change. And individual healing is an inherently revolutionary act.

Thus begins my revolution. (please, read more here.)

Denver, CO, United States
smith college grad. recent new england transplant to colorful colorado, by way of the midwest. i'm (still) working on healing (easier to do in CO than the mostly-emotionally-numb midwest). all while working for social change from within the reproductive justice/pro-choice movement. trying to connect healing with social justice, trying to find support for forming that connection in an often dysfunctional feminist activist community. finding the common ground...between healing and feminist social movements, between right wing and left wing, between you and me.
